I spent a lifetime believing all the reasons I didn't deserve to feel good. Those reasons became stories stuck in my body, creating all kinds of mental, physical and relationship problems.
This was exacerbated when I became a new mom. I felt annihilated. Even with a 20 plus year career in the arts (and a longer time studying healing in the background), I had zero access to my creative power or feeling any kind of good.
I remember coming to my therapist thick with desperation and postpartum anxiety, "I need a plan!" I pleaded. The bubblebaths and self-care she prescribed didn't cut it. I needed something serious.
What I learned is:
The power to heal myself and create the life I wanted was inside me.
It was my own sweet sensual connection to my body and sacred creativity.
It was feeling and loving the full range of myself like never before.
I needed practice; guidance and tools to teach me to access it.
When I was ready, the teacher came.
And when I decided to commit to myself and went all in, my life changed in unimaginable ways.

Hi, I’m Krista..
I use creativity, pleasure, and embodiment tools to presence your deepest self, root you in your radiance, and help you create the life of your dreams. For over 23 years, I’ve been an apprentice to sensuality, exploring how desire, pleasure, and fun can reimagine our lives and our worlds. I founded The Project for Urban Intimacy, using art and community-based play to bring these concepts to life.
With over two decades of experience as a professor, artistic director and visiting artist, I’ve guided thousands of individuals in unlocking their creativity and igniting their passions. I am a Triple-Certified Pleasure Coach from Regena Thomashauer’s School of Womanly Arts, studying with the pleasure-queen herself, Mama Gena. My diverse training includes being a Reiki master, Qigong instructor, and practitioner of Feminine Embodied Movement. I believe pleasure is sourced from the body, and getting her lit up and moving is key to accessing the abundance, delight, and ease you’ve been longing for.
My journey into this work began early, I studied with a Curandera and received my first two Reiki certifications by the age of 16. I received my MFA from Carnegie Mellon University and was an art professor at 23 before becoming an artist director at a world-renowned artist workshop and residency program, Anderson Ranch Art Center, 7 years later. However, it was the dark night of the soul I faced after the birth of my child that truly transformed me, aligning my life with sacred pleasure and igniting a passion for facilitating lasting change in others. Through advanced mentorships in Mind/Body Medicine, Qigong, Tapping, and Pleasure Coaching, I’ve honed my skills to blend embodiment, pleasure, sensuality, and creativity into a powerful toolkit.
I’m here to champion your deepest desires—your soul's calling. My role is to ground your vision in reality and guide you into becoming the person capable of embracing and manifesting it. I’ve had decades of education, experience, and practice so that you don’t have to have to!
